2nd visit to Smart Comfort this year. Love this place. Close to food and beach. Apartments are excellent, comfortable bed and great pool. Staff are wonderful and very accomodating . Its now my go to place in Sanur. Thank you Nyoman and staff for a fabulous stay.

"Lovely place to stay"

This was a very modern, clean villa. It had a good kitchen, a great pool and a very comfortable bed. It was very private, yet close to everything. We thoroughly enjoyed staying here. The longe/ living area was spacious with television, free wifi and air conditioning.

"Fills a unique niche - affordable private pool villa"

This is my fourth stay at Smart villas. I’ve stayed in many other properties in the SANUR area. This one is different in so far as it is fairly priced, easy to walk to the main street, and each villa provides a very clever layout to include a lounge room, with smart TV, and basic kitchen. The whole villa opens up onto the pool area. It’s not big but it’s fine for one or two people. The outdoor courtyard could do with a refresh in terms of pain, etc.

"Beautiful and comfortable"

We stayed in the villa for 3 nights and it was bliss. Plenty of room to relax and spread out. The pool area is bliss and very welcoming to cool down. The villa was clean, spacious and had everything you need. The shower out to the pool and room is a great idea. Plenty of tv channels to watch and the bed was very comfortable. Awesome location, 5 mins walk to the Main Street and 10 mins to the beach and all the restaurants. It was just bliss and we will be back 🙏🏼

"This Beautiful Small Villa Complex is just right."

Wonderful Small Villa Complex. So relaxing and welcoming. The complex is well located within easy walking distance to numerous small warungs serving delicious food and drinks. It’s also close to small convenience stores, laundry services etc. It is about 5 minutes walk east to the main street (Jalan Danau Tamblingan) and easy access to the bypass on the western side. Less than 5 mins walk east of Jalan Danau Tamblingan and you will be enjoying all that the beachfront walkways and restaurants have to offer. We did hire a motorbike for our stay to use for adventures further away. The villas are very clean and comfortable with plenty of room and well appointed. The whole place is well maintained, the air conditioners and fans keep the rooms cool, as does the beautiful pool which is so good to relax in and sit around. There are plenty of channels on the tv showing movies, sports, and documentaries if you need them, although it is not a ‘smart’ tv, so streaming services aren’t available. The staff always greet you with a smile, are incredibly friendly, and are keen to assist you in any way. We loved our two week stay here and would certainly stay here again

"A smart place to stay."

Smart Comfort Apartments have everything you could possibly need for your stay and all staff were very friendly, caring and helpful. Great position near nice warungs to eat at, a supermarket and Winnie, the best seamstress ever. This is our second time here and would not hesitate to stay again.

"Fabulous Place To Stay"

These self contained apartments are a great place to stay in with all the facilities you need and located in central Sanur and within walking distance to many bars and restaurants. All rooms are very spacious with the living area really comfortable to relax in. Excellent outdoor area with nice pool and outdoor sofa to chill out on. Door to shower from the pool is an excellent idea too. Place is cleaned everyday with fresh towels and shower toiletries provided. The staff are very friendly and helpful when I needed some help. Overall the experience was excellent and would recommend staying here in the future, as it’s good value for money from the high quality and standard you receive…

"Lovely place to stay"

We stayed here for 6 nights, and it was so nice. You have your on privacy and pool. The apartment is spacious and clean. Bed linen was clean. Staff didn't speak or understand English so well, that was a little bit of problem. Location was the only issue to us, but if you have a scooter, that's not a problem. Kitchen area was nice and had everything you may need. Free parking.

"Nice Villa"

Very nice villa, clean room and pool. The villa is well presented, it is very quiet and private, not sure if this is because we were the only ones there, this was due to travel restrictions and not anything to do with the villa. Highly recommend this villa if you are looking to stay in Sanur.

"Holiday"

Great location, a few minutes walk to shops, fabulous beach and restaurants. The villa has its own splash pool with private outside area. Clean and modern, staff are on site 24/7 and are very friendly and helpful. We are leaving tomorrow but will definitely be back.

"Amazing"

Smart comfort villas Sanur were amazing. Everything you needed at a great price and a good location near the Main Street just behind Hardy’s supermarket. I have to admit I was a little concerned about the location when we first arrived as we drove through back lanes, however once there it was an easy walk to the Main Street. At night the lanes are lit up with many of the little bars and warnings so plenty of light to walk back in the dark. The villas are well set out and very clean with a sparkling pool. The villas don’t have a hairdryer toaster or microwave but these can be provided if you need them for a small daily charge (hairdryer was $1 a day). The staff were lovely and alway greeted you with a smile and asked if it was ok to clean your room when you were going out. Would definitely recommend.

"Modern, stylish and clean - we very much loved our stay here!"

We had a great stay here - it was so relaxing, quiet and comfortable! The villa is spacious, stylish and perfect for a couple. The outdoor area is great, there are beanbags around the pool as well as outdoor furniture to relax and eat at. Beds are super comfortable and the area is quiet for a good night's sleep. A lovely villa with a great location (only 5 mins to restaurants, 8 mins to supermarket and 12 mins to the beach) - would definitely recommend!

What a surprise. Clean. Great hosts. Close to restaurants and shops -about 5 minutes. About 10 minutes walk to the beach. Very modern. Everything you need. But fabulous. Loved it. Very quiet. Would highly recommend. Cheers Karen and Alan

"LOVED LOVED LOVED"

Cannot say a bad word about our stay. Everything and everyone was perfect. No microwaves or hairdryer, which other reviewers have mentioned but I take a hairdryer anyway and no need for a microwave. We're have already planned our return trip. Great selection of places to eat from Warungs to upscale hotels. Peaceful place to stay. Highly recommend it.

"Another great stay.. Great value for money"

This was our second stay, and just as good as the first.. Have already booked 2 villas for March 2019 when we go with friends.. Nothing like taking a dip in your own private pool straight from bed in the morning.. Staff are very friendly and helpful. If your after a private villa in a quiet part of Sanur but still walking distance to everything this place is perfect. We stay here for 2 nights at the end of every trip to wind down after the hustle and bussel of Legian.

"Excellent!"

We have just recently returned home from our 15 night stay at Smart Comfort. We absolutely loved our time there. Our villa was so private, it was so quiet, which is what we wanted. Occasionally, you’d hear the odd scooter passing by, and we heard a bit of construction for a couple of days, but besides that, it was perfect. The unit was cleaned every day, but not very thorough and towels were changed daily. Smart Comfort could do with a deep clean and a lick of paint, whereby it would look cleaner.

"First trip to Bali"

I loved my one bedroom unit. Everything was clean and well presented. I chose the pick up from airport option which costs US$20. WOW it is overwhelming trying to find your name! Took nearly 1/2hr. Took 3hrs to get out of airport. immigration 1 1/2hrs and even then luggage took another hour. My reason for choosing pick up was just to make everything as easy as possible since this was my first visit. The bed was the best bed I’ve ever slept on, exceptionally comfortable which is really important to me. That alone would make me visit again. The lap pool was fab perfect for solo traveller. The staff were always very helpful and friendly. It was cool in the evenings so needed long sleeves. Distance from restaurants is about 10mins slow walk. I forgot to take a torch so hence slow, but still able to see fine. Usually I would say 5 min walk to restaurants. I was only in Bali for a 3 night stopover on my way back to New Zealand from UK. Excellent place for stopover and shall do same again. Much cheaper than most places. Wifi free and excellent and available in most restaurants. Would have liked iron and ironing board but they don’t have. No coffee or tea provided only 2 small bottles of water on arrival. Not worth cooking when eating out is cheap. It took me a while to find Hardy’s supermarket as in small mall only five minutes away saw clothes in window and didn’t realise it was supermarket. Good for pawpaw for breakfast, cheap.

"Like coming home"

In fact the greeting we got was "welcome home" when we arrived. And it did feel like coming home especially after the place we had booked and didnt stay in for more than two nights. The staff here are lovely and always friendly and the service great. The rooms are getting a little in need of a make over but theyre comfortable and well laid out and being able to fall into your own private pool to escape the heat is priceless. Even though you are on a reasonably busy street the units are never too noisy and in the units we have stayed in there is no one overlooking the pool. Smart Comfort is an easy walk from the main street and beach with trips further affield easy to arrange. The area feels safe and there is a mix of local and tourist foot traffic to ensure people watching is never boring.

"Great Villa’s for couples"

We stayed 7nights and had a wonderful time relaxing and swimming in the pool. The rooms are as you see them on their website. Clean and nice. Bed was comfortable and big. The staff were great ,nice and friendly and were not intrusive just what you want on a couples holiday. The location is great about a 5min walk to the main strip of Sanur and 8min walk to beach front. We hired bikes to get around and never used a taxi. Would I stay again...... 100% yes. If your a couple looking for a private getaway I would recommend this place.

"Perfect Location - Great Value"

This was our first stay in Sanur and first ever private pool villa in Bali. walking distance to great cafes and restaurants and Hardy's supermarket at the end of the lane. 12 min walk to beach. Comfortable villa, cold air-con, tepid water pool, and great staff. Will be staying here for 3 nights after Legian each trip from now on to relax. Has the basics for own cooking, but buy own tea/coffee as not supplied. Bintangs, soft drink and chips available at the check in/out desk.

The Villa is spacious and walking distance to the Beach Restaurant and Bar...the private pool is relaxing...It's peaceful clean and the amenities provide so if you feel like cooking you can. The staff are very friendly n helpful...we love to come back again
